water cycle

The water cycle also known as the H2O cycle is what I'm going to tell you about.
You can start anywhere along the water cycle but I'm choosing to start at the sea. First the water in the sea starts to evaporate some of you who don't know what EVAPORATE is I'll tell you what evaporate means, when the sun shines onto the surface of the water the water starts to rise up into the air some you may think that's a bit crazy but that's what actually happens. Anyways then the water that has evaporated forms into a cloud or otherwise forms into another cloud. When the cloud gets heavy it moves to a mountain and because the mountain has some water on it the cloud gets even heavier and then it knows it's really ready to squeeze. Then the water starts to roll down the mountain and finds it's way to meet with another little stream and forms into a river and that river finds it's way to the sea and the cycle starts over again. I hope you've enjoyed reading about my water cycle!

Term 4 goals!

It's term 4 and these are my goals..........


1. My first goal is to get better at maths.
2. My second goal is to work faster.
3. My third goal is to be neat.
4. My fourth goal is to get a pen license.
5. My fifth goal is to finish 36 facts.
6. My last goal is to get a good 36 facts time.

My sister

My sister is 7 years old and she drives me crazy!
Every day we fight like crazy but in the end someone gets told off. Me and my sister don't just fight with words - we fight physically. We fight over the remote and sometimes we fight over a packet of chips.
"I want to watch AFV!" I shout at her.
"But I want to watch a DVD," she says. In the end I get to watch what I want to watch. I only get to watch  what I want  to watch because mum and dad want to watch it too. Sometimes she gets to watch what she wants to. I really enjoy fighting with my sister because I know it would be safe.

Tree planting

Yesterday Room 2 got to go tree planting. When we got there I was so excited.
Me and Gracie buddied up. The first tree we planted was very exciting because I got to dig a hole and put the plant in.
Me and Gracie planted about 13 or 14 trees. We had so much fun that I felt like I could plant all day.
I hope we get to go tree planting again!

Cake!

Last week was my birthday. Me and my mum baked two cakes to share with the class.  One of the cakes had Spongebob drawn on it and the other one was a chocolate cake. 
Near the end of the day we got to eat the cake. We ate it at the end of the day because Dave forgot all about it!
When me and Ruby brought the cake out everybody rushed to us because they wanted to eat it. I'm proud of my mum because she makes the best cakes in the whole world!

Mouse

A few days ago we got three mice from Natureland. Stella got to go with Dave to get the mice because when we held a vote for who to go with Dave to Natureland she got the most votes. After lunch when we all rushed into the classroom everybody was gathering around the cage that we got for the mice because the mice were in their cage and everybody really wanted to see them. After all the work we'd done  looking up information about mice I was so excited about the mice because we had actual mice in our class - so cute.........  Anyway I was also very scared that I wouldn't be able to bring the mice home because my mum is scared of mice.

The next day I brought a piece of paper that says that I'm allowed to bring the mice home in the weekends. I was so excited. That is my mice story.

Four Square

"What do you want to do Lydia?" I asked her. We both knew what I would say.

"Four square", we said at the same time.

Some people might not know how to play four square. Well I'll tell you how to.

Four square is a game for people who don't like to run around.

You need:

A ball -  one that's bouncy,

Squares - 9 to 12 would do,

9 to 12 people.

Now all you do is choose a person to be king. King is best to be in the middle of the squares. First king serves the ball by carefully patting the ball. Then you keep patting it to one another. People can get out by double bounces which is when the ball bounces in your square more than once. If you get out then you go to the lowest square.
